02/02/08 - new FSOL article & mix CD

Cheers to Graham as ever for this reasonably exciting news. From the forums...

The next issue of Freeze magazine (Greek based) has a big new feature on FSOL and FSOLDigital. I believe it's out on February 14th.
The magazine also comes with a special FSOLDigital mix comprising the following tracks:
The Future Sound of London - Lizzard Crawl
The Future Sound of London - Long Shadows
The Future Sound of London - Brujo
The Future Sound of London - Globular
Amorphous Androgynous - Tiny Space Birds
Amorphous Androgynous/FSOL/Dianne Harris - A Tiny Point of Light
Amorphous Androgynous - Oblivion
Heads of Agreement - La Veshter Du Umbre
Mental Cube - Sightings
Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid (Feadz 2007 Mix)
Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid (Pirate Robot Midget Mix)
The Future Sound of London - Plazmatik
Polemical - Mos Son
Polemical - Iseum
Amorphous Androgynous - Peppermint Tree
Amorphous Androgynous - Katta Pilla
The Future Sound of London - Five Six Five

He also provided some useful links which may help in trying to get a copy to purchase if you're not in Greece. Whether the article is in Greek or not we don't know yet, but once a copy is available it'll be on here!

What to make of the tracklist? Well, most of the tracks are already available on FSOLDigital, but there are some (currently) exclusive cuts here. Five Six Five is a new title, the only new FSOL track. Tiny Space Birds, Oblivion, Peppermint Tree and Katta Pilla are new AA tracks - chances are they'll all feature on the Peppermint Tree EP. Katta Pilla you may recognise as a propsective track for Alice In Ultraland, and from the AA MySpace page - KattaPill, either a remix or a classic Cobain/Dougas spelling mistake. After much waiting it looks like we'll finally be hearing The Peppermint Tree.
There'll be some more updates on this once we actually hear the CD and read the article, so watch this space...
