08/04/11 - More Noel Gallagher stuff

Noel Gallagher has reportedly collaborated with Amorphous Androgynous on his upcoming solo material.

However, online blogger Peter Cornish-Barlow of Sourmash Music has claimed that the ex-Oasis guitarist disagrees with his management over the tracks.

Writing about the recording sessions on Twitter, Cornish-Barlow said: "He left LA to get away from his management because they don't like the work he is doing with Amorphous Androgynous

"No-one, apart from Noel likes the reworked material AA have done! Its causing problems in camp, so I am told. (sic)"

He added: "Also the feeling is that he won't get his way, and he will most likely [release] the album that did the rounds last year!

"The one [Ex-Creation boss Alan] McGee has heard. He has two albums worth of material too apparently."

It seems hiring Brian and Gaz isn't a sensible idea if your management want to push you as a sensible singer-songwriter type. Maybe there's a Her Tongue is Like a Jellyfish-esque piece on there. Here's hoping...

05/04/11 - Forum

Just so you know, the forum is still alive, just operating on a different time stream to the rest of reality. We've been informed it should be back up to normal speed in the next day or two, so keep your eye on it and I'll post a reminder here once it works fine (if I remember. Which I probably won't).
Ta!

04/04/11 - Amorphous/Noel Gallager rumours again

"Noel Gallagher’s solo album is done since last year. He’s in Los Angeles just to make improvements on the sessions with Amorphous Androgynous."
Does this mean improvements on the AA sessions, or are he and AA making improvements on existing recordings? Is it all bullshit?

04/01/11 - newconc's Lightning Tree

Maybe it forms the slowed down grind of a soundtrack, but there's no obvious connection with that song from the second Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble CD (thankfully) - instead, some strange sounds, and black and white footage of a creepy looking dead tree, with a lot of digital interference. It's the latest video from Brian's 80s archive on YouTube, newconc.
