Well, not only does Noel love Gaz and Brian's track selections and mixing skills, but he loves their work too. Posted on Oasis' blog today, he has this to say about a forthcoming release:
"...By the way, there's gonna be a very special release coming your way soon. Remember that "Amorphous Androgynous" lot I was telling you about? Well, they've done a "Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble" mix of "Falling Down". It's 22 mins long. I'll repeat that, TWENTY-TWO MINUTES LONG!! I fully expect 50% of you not to have the attention span to deal with something like that but the rest of you, I hope, will be blown away. It's a staggering piece of music. Monumental even. All superlatives will apply."
Graham verifies: It's essentially 5 sections but it all runs together.
So we're expecting something like a FSOL/AA EP out of this, starting with the song and heading off onto an interesting trip. We can't say much more about the release, but keep in mind the words 'a very special release'.
Looks like the band are going to be getting a lot more press lately - they've been in the NME a few times lately, the first since The Isness was released seven long years ago...
Keep your eyes peeled for more news and other FSOL stuff coming soon.
