16/05/25 - Trip Maps back in print
Trip Maps: Psychedelic Worlds is back in print on CD, now with expanded art in a digipak case, rather than the simple card sleeve of the first edition. Does this mean we'll be getting a third volume soon? Grab it here.

06/05/25 - Multiple Angled Distortions
The second of two EPs previewing the forthcoming Environment Eight album/trilogy/series/recipe book (delete as appropriate in a few months) is called Multiple Angled Distortions and is available now from the FSOLDigital Bandcamp. Nine tracks running to 29 minutes, it's mostly short pieces. The EP closes with 'Northern Point', as previewed for the Environment Seven trilogy a few years ago, but otherwise it all appears to be new material. Stylistically I'd describe it as a cross between Built by Humanoid and Music for 3 Books. It's available as 12" and download.

29/03/25 - A ton of updates
Hello hello, sorry, life and health and Google got in the way and I've not been able to get this updated for a short while. Typically, this short while has seen the release of a lot of news and music. So here's a roundup:
The 'Papua New Guinea' / 'Murmurations' double a-side 10" from 2012 appeared, somewhat out of the blue, on Bandcamp. A box of 50 copies were found, made available, and sold out within an incredibly short time; as a bonus, an unheard track 'Murmuration Skies' - an alternative take - is included in the download edition. It's a sparser, eight minute version with structural similarities to tracks like 'Hollow Earth'.
On a similar note, two archived remixes of Smart Systems track 'Tingler' have been added to the Bandcamp page, both made by Kouncilhouse in 2007/2008 - Tagg Remix and Smokin Breaks.
In other news, Papua New Guinea Translations is back in print on vinyl, and finally available from Bandcamp. To celebrate this, an EP of five new remixes by Yage is also available; two are fairly straight-forward rearrangements of Translations tracks, while the other three are radical reworkings. This is a 12" and download release.
Mind Maps 2 came back into print and disappeared once more in the time away. Sorry if you missed it!
February's calendar track arrived without fanfare - or notification - and is called 'Spherica'.
Pulse Four is back in print again and completes the reissue campaign for the series. This just leaves six 12"s from the Passion Music era not to receive a reissue in some form or another.

13/02/25 - Alice in Ultraland for RSD
Bit late on this, but here we are. Alice in Ultraland will finally receive a vinyl reissue for 2025's Record Store Day in April. Weirdly it's being promoted as an FSOL release, and the press saying it's cited as the best album the band have made, but that aside... copies go for ludicrous sums on the second hand market, so it's good that it'll finally be back in print again. As always, the band will be selling copies through Bandcamp after the day.

27/01/25 - Globular on Bandcamp
Following my latest YouTube video - I'm up to the 2006 surround sound sessions, for those not following the series - A Gigantic Globular Burst of Anti-Static has finally appeared on the FSOL Bandcamp. You can grab it here if you haven't heard, or are keen to finally get it in lossless.
27/01/25 - 2025 Calendar
