22/02/24 - ISDN tracklist

So we have a tracklist for the expanded ISDN. As predicted, the 2LP version simply pastes the white edition tracks into the start of side D before ending with 'An End of Sorts'. Interestingly, the 2CD edition features the same running order, making it a 90 minute 18 track double album with strong similarities to Lifeforms, right down to CD1 containing eight tracks and running to roughly 40 minutes, and CD2 containing more and running to roughly 50. It looks set to be the 'definitive' version of the album - the question is, will we ever get something similar for Dead Cities (the answer is, of course, no).

15/02/24 - Record Store Day 2024: ISDN and From the Archives

ISDN will be getting a much overdue vinyl reissue for this year's Record Store Day, and apparently "audio from both versions has been amalgamated and sequenced by Brian Dougans". Whether this will be all 18 album tracks, or if b-sides like Snake Hips Part 2, Live in New York and Herd Killing will be present remains to be seen. A CD reissue is also happening, although the blurb states it's a single disc (which won't fit all 18 tracks), Rough Trade have announced a pre-order for a 2CD version. Time will tell. FSOLDigital's offering this year is less notable, a reissue of the 2007 2LP From the Archives compilation.

15/02/24 - Pulse Five expanded CD & download

As with the past few De:tuned releases, Pulse Five has been given an expanded CD and download release via FSOLDigital. This includes six additional tracks by FSOL, Smart Systems, Indo Tribe and Yage. For those digital purchasers who only want these, they can be purchased individually.
